if i write a web page that allows me to upload files to my webserver through a webpage............
will i be able to use it (through either internal browser or opera) to upload files from my p800 to the webserver?

Experience with Opera suggests it will work on that, but not sure about the builtin browser.

you should be able to it just depends on what language you use and if the phone will understand it, i was going to do something similar a while back but had no need to in the end as i used my dads computer
why not use the FTP program you can get, surely that be easier???

the free gprs i have with 02 only allows web surfing, not anything that uses any other ports.

Even if you find an FTP app to use (FTP800 is available a my-symbian), it would be great if you wrote the upload page and we get to test it on a range of browsers.

Has been tested in internal browser and opera (i prefer internal browser as it gives you an upload box telling you percent upload!)
Give it a try.
it will upload any jpg, resize it to 250x188 if the picture is larger than that and then display your new picture for you.
