i would like the following:

1) A nice app to store sms and mms, would also be nice if it was possible to send from it.

2) a picture browsing app so you could easily preview and send directly from the built in ir-features of ppc2002

3) the ability to direct-sync the calendar with pocket outlook.

4) the ability to sync the phonebooks in the two devices.

has anyone got tips on how to do this?

there must be quite a few people that use ppc2002 devices here... and it would be nice if we too, as the palm people, could try to use some of the more advanced features available to us.

1. i dunno about the mms, but there's a sms manager that connects via ir and bluetooth. thet68 can even be configured to send a push message to the pda for every sms received. though i don't use it, drain battery fast both form my ipaq and T68

2. pocket pc has 3rd party apps to browse pictures but have no integrated sync to broswse that of the T68

3. xtndconnect full version allows you to synch your pda to your T68 dirrectly

4. well your number 4 is a T68 to T68 synch, which is not that possible with the T68 yet

ciao

I use H3870 and T68i.

You can use one or all of these programs :
Simple call, Simple sms,..find them here :

http://www.visualit.co.uk

-------------------------------------------

Picture-browser,..well theres this one :
IA-album - really good !

http://www.ia-style.com

I use another one called : PQV (try to search for it at e.g. handango.com) I think its freeware,..I got it from someone else,..it works very well indeed !

----------------------------------------------

Freeware sites e.g. : http://www.cebeans.com
http://www.ppcsg.com
http://download.cnet.com

----------------------------------------------

I bought two great books on pocket pc/Ipaq,..and I just did a 2 pages word-list with links to pocket pc sites (hardware, software, jackets, cases, news, info and so on).

If You guys want the list,..please leave me a private message with your email

BTW > I also do Themes for pocket pc 2002 I bought the ThemeMakerPT from http://www.pocketthemes.com
Its the only theme-editor that can do 16m colors
And in the ThemeMakerPT you can upload directly to their site.
It can also open existing themes,..very nice program, and a lot of fun

They have a lot of themes on their site,..and they are free
