I am thinking of making a contract with o2 because the price for the p910 is very good.
My question is, does o2 lock the p910 to work only on o2 simcards?
And does o2 lock ANY mobile phones, or changes the menus?
If you have an o2 phone, please reply.
thanks:)

i believe o2 are the only network that does not brand or lock their phones. How long this will remain? who knows?

I hope not...my case is that i have a p900, and my gf is thinking of making a contract with o2, so i'll be giving her my p900, and getting the p910 she gets with her contract, and i'll pay her some money in exchange.
Well i hope its not locked because i'm with orange.
Either way, even the menus are untouched?

ahh i see, yes i dont see why you wont be able to put your orange sim into the P910. However your orange P900 may be locked so your girlfriend may not be able to use your P900 without unlocking it first.

As in free you mean unlocked yes? If so i see no problem or barriers with your little scheme.

The O2 P910 is unlocked. It does have O2 branding though. This is limited to the wallpaper on the home screen and does not affect the phone adversely.

So nothing else changed except for the home screen? When you say home screen do you mean the welcome screen, when you switch the phone on?or the wallpaper that you always see when the phone is on?
