I'm using my P800 almost exclusively for drawing in Jotter (artsy fartsy stuff ), but I have no idea how to transfer the pictures to my computer. The synchronization program works, but I can't choose which program to synchronize Jotter with in the checkboxes. Does anybody know how I transfer Jotter to a computer, or what programs are compatible with Jotter?

Firstly, welcome to Esato

You can simply use the options within each Jotter diagram/pic to send the item to your pc via Bluetooth.

The resultant image if my memory is correct is a *.gif file.

As to syncing the file, I haven't a clue as I never sync anything from my phone, just do full backups.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the welcome. ^_^

Um, I don't have bluetooth on my computer, nor IR. Is there any other way? Preferably without having to e-mail the pictures to myself, I get charged by the e-mail.

As the man said above, backup your phone. The resulting file is actually a ZIP file, so you just copy it to another place and rename it to .zip. Open it and start searching. All your jotter files will be in there somewhere.

I also seem to remember that the index of the backup is an Access database, but you might want to stop before this step if it gets too complicated.

Try a program called Oxygen Phone Manager.

Dudes, it's not working... The zip-file contained nothing but .dat-files and Oxygen never noticed my phone was connected. Any other suggestions? ^^;

Well - they're not going to be named .gif, you can be sure of that. Looks like you'll have to trawl through the index file to locate which file is what.

Ok, here is how i saved the jotter images:

* select send as email
* go to the attavhmnt tab
* click on the attachment, then save (on ms for example)
* and voili, you use datacable or card reader to copy the file to the pc

Hope this help, and we are waiting your sketches in the "Post you sketches..." thread

@inorog

Jotter drawing are definitely *.gif files.

Beam a Jotter drawing to your pc and you will see for yourself.

If you beam the entire Jotter Note - text and drawing - then the file format is different.
