Hiya! Itsa me again. :-) well heres the situation: one guy has ps2, another doesnt. The one that doesnt wanna borrow it for couple weeks but he doesnt have a memory card. I have one but its for psone will it work with ps2? If you've read this far, please answer my lil qu. Sanx.

Yes and no. Yes it will work but only to save ps1 games played on the ps2. if you want to play and save ps2 games you need the 8mb magic gate one (or whtever they are called)

If its in your bedroom the whirring fan will keep you awake all nght if its turned on, i didnt have a mem card for about 3 weeks after buying my ps2 it was on all the time

That was when they first came out, it certainly hasnt done it any harm. Its taken some amount of abuse, its been kicked, bashed, dropped, stood on, left on for 3 weeks at a time, and not a problem! I wouldnt worry about leaving it on, it wont do it any harm at all.
