I am buying a p910, upgrading from a p900 soon, and i was wondering how good the XDA versions are compared to p910.
Anyone who's had experience with both phones?
I think that the px00 series are the best price/pda/phone combination.
But XDA is becoming quite popular. Is this justified by it's features, or is it just bought by businessmen who dont care about features and price?

I am a P910i user, but I do feel that phone/PDAs using Microsoft software sync better with users who use Windows. For example, Outlook contacts sync smoothly with iPaq, but not with Symbian phones like P910i. That's probably one reason why some prefer to go for XDA or iPaq devices.

I've owned both an XDA2 and a P900. Never really used the XDA2 so i can't comment on how well it syncs, but i have an Orange SPV C500 and a P900 connected to the same PC at the same time. They both sync flawlessly with MS Outlook 2003.

I have the P900 configured as the 'master' device on the system, and everything on Outlook gets overwritten by what's new on the phone. If i edit anything on Outlook, this is also then synced to the phone (weird, but true, yet useful).

The C500 is a slave device as i don't use it as much, and that takes what the P900 has synced to outlook, and syncs with that.

Everything from the P900 syncs perfectly with Outlook. Everything from Outlook then syncs perfectly with my C500.

It doesn't get much better than that!

I'd recommend either, i've never had any problems.

Hope this helps,

hmm yeah, it helps on the sync view. but i never sync my phone with the pc, just backup once in a few weeks. So i'd be more interested more on the functions and ease of use of the phones.
thanks though..
