why is it when my p800 receives a picture over infrared/bluetooth from another camera phone, the transferred file appears as a blank screen?

Nope same problem. All i get displayed is a little icon of a picture with a tear in it.

Im trying to send photos from my s700 to my p800.

Someone else must have tried??

I beleave there is some problum with file extension supported.... try using some file explorer and drill down to the file u have just downloaded.... or just for a change try converting the file to some standard format and then upload it to the phone i am sure it would work.................... If nothing works Switch off your phone and then after 60sec switch it on.... as some of my friends have experenced such problums which is occationally due to RAM getting locked by some junk application....
Best of luck

the s700 takes photos as jpgs

they arent being altered before being sent to the p800

cant see it being a file extension problem unless the p800 is being funny about .jpg and .jpeg lol

It only seems to do it with photos taken on the camera though.

For example, i can transfer a jpg from my pc to the s700. Then the p800 receives from the s700 successfully.
