> S700 MSN and Vodafone UK

I have searched for info on using MSN on a S700 connected to Voda UK and after reading too many threads to mention, I am still non the wiser.
Voda UK remove the My Friends section from the menus and most replies on here to me to set up a Yamigo account and use My Friends.
So, I have two questions;
1: Do the Java MSN Clients work if Voda UK have removed the My Friends?
2: Has anyone used any of the apps (like IMic Mobile Client from jabber.nu) available on an S700 on a UK Voda pay monthly contract with GPRS enabled... if so, which work and (subjective I know) which is the best one?
