basically: small, easy to use, clear screen, battery should last at least 2 days standby, nice looks, clear sound, durable.

other features: video/audio recording and playback (the more formats supported, the better), large memory, good quality camera, radio, supports java games, a well-featured organizer, flawless connectivity to PCs and other devices (via cable, IR, or bluetooth)

There may be more, but I think you get the idea.

First, i list down all the things i need.

Do you need to use a camera? more installed apps like dictionaries, games, and other utilities? would you listen to music with it?

Then after knowing what you want to do with your phone, that will be the time to know the features of SE phone you want to get if it would suit you.

I have a p900. I would love to have an s700i but i think it would bore me to death because it's just an imaging phone. So know your needs first
