Hey guys my phone's lcd got broken recently and so I was wondering if any of you american guys on t-mobile know or have had any experience with asurion. apparently they don't have any p800/p900/p910s in stock so they can't replace my p900 and i really don't want any other phone. the lady said to call back every other day to check back if they have the phone in stock which sounds a bit fishy but possible,
so i was wondering if you guys have any tips with dealing with the asurion reps on possibly getting a px00 phone.
btw: the reps want me to trade in my p900 for a treo 600 or a h6315 but ive read the h6315 vs p900 thread and i don't like the fact that people complain about its size, because i wear jeans a lot so it might not fit in there

Why not try replacing the screen yourself? Check out the ‘taking apart the P900‘ thread, or have a look at Howards Forum.
After all you‘ve nothing to lose.
Good luck

Hey I assume that you've already replaced your phone by now. I had a p900 which I lost in Indonesia in June 04, I had the same problem with assurian, which would not replace my phone but offered the Ipaq as a replacement. However they stated that they could send me a reimbursement for up to $550 US for the phone if I were to buy it on my own and send them a copy of a computer generated receipt. That was back in August of 2004. I bought a p910i from DataVision in New York City for $625 last month and today I just received a check for $599, which is after paying the deductable. Assurian recently raised the maximum reimbursement to $1000.
Cheers.
