It can only load wap pages, hence called a wap browser. There are java apps that are capable of html browsing. This message was posted from a K500

That webviewer seems nice - I would just like to have something freeware though

Anyone know of any?

Well the k5's and k7's browser can open web pages so even the s7 should do it however the pages should be in pure html with no frames, flash or java n they'll work fine with up-down n side to side to scrollin, there's quite a few web sites i've opened this way. The java apps you're talkin bout(webviewer etc) are also capable of doin only the same however they seem better coz they resize/reformat the page to fit the phone's screen...only true advantage is that there browsers support frames.
