@whiz...i use hutch in mumbai. i used to have this problem initially on wap. i think its has something to do with the way you type your message before posting it on a T610.
Have you also noticed that this issue usually arisies with T610s more often than not.

hutch is pretty good when it comes to mms and grprs i must say.
rim is best if u wanna use wireless internet.

I'm on Airtel, i believe their data services are far superior to both hutch and RIM. RIM doesn't qualify for data services comparable to either of the two major GSM players, as it is CDMA. Even though CDMA does have a high potential in data services, it is uncomparable to EDGE in either of Airtel and Hutch. In EDGE, Airtel is definitely better then Hutch, i'm quite sure even most hutch users would say so.

It doesnt matter which one you choose dude. Its the phone you use it on that matters. As a general rule, when it comes to speeds on GPRS or EDGE, Nokia > Sagem > SE > LG > Motorola.
However remember that signal strength is important too. you dont want to choose a phone purely for data speeds and lose out on signals in low reception areas. In that respect, Nokia = Motorola > Sagem > SE.
