Hi.

Does anyone know how i can get jmirc (http://jmirc.sf.net) to work properly on my t610? Yes, i know that t610 doesn't support sockets, but one option is to use a wap proxy, i have tried some, but none of them worked. Is there something i have to do with my preferences on my phone? Maybe make a new wap profile? I live in Norway, and my mobile provider is Netcom.

hmm, got this weird error with WLirc, "java.io.IOException" the program did look promising though... i just wish S-E could make a new firmware for t610 with socket support..

Anyways, anyone else got any ideas what to do?

Indiandawg:

Your phone does fully support jmIRC, so all you have to do is download it, then go to options in the program, choose nickname and irc channel, and press connect
You can download it and read about it at http://jmirc.sf.net

(your phone supports socket:// , mine doesn't, thats why i started this thread.. )
