Greetings Esato,

Im the happy owner of a K700i, but within the last couple of days, the S700i has dropped around 200 euros here in Denmark, so the price is aprog 380 euro all included.

This means that i can upgrad to S700 for 180 euro..

Here a list of pros and cons

Pros:
Larger screen
Megapixel camera
Memorystick - larger memory

Cons:
Larger size
Only 128 mb memorystick compatible with phone
No full screen video, same resolution as k700..
Support for Gameboard EGB-10??

To all the S700 users out there. . What do you say??

Best regards

Troymclure

The real question is are you willing to pay 180euros for the list of pros you mentioned?? Only you can answer if you need more memory,mp camera, huge n amazin display and whether or not the cons bother you mate. Btw it can play almost full screen videos which happens when you encode them in mp4 with one particular software...dont remember more details so search around in this forum.

I would suggest a P910 instead. How much is it going for? Much more memory possibilities with it. Here in India, both the S700 and the P910 cost round about the same. This message was posted from a T230

But in denmark there's a price difference of P910i for 640 euro and the S700 for 360 euro, so it's still a big step.

The p910 n s700 are completely different phones dude n cant be compared just coz their prices are identical. S700 is an excellent multimedia phone mainly due its camera while p910 on the other hand is a smartphone and is meant do to some serious work but then it has pda form factor so quite big while a s700(obviously when closed) is much easier to carry in pocket. For someone not lookin for smartphone applications a s700(or even a k700 for that matter) will offer much more value for money than the mighty p910.

I totally agree, that the p910 is to big to be use as just a mobilephone.. So the S700 is a better match

Totally agree with clank, if you don't need the pda functions associated with p910 then the s700 is the one. It's also worth mentioning that the p910 has a vga compared to the 1.3mp on the s700.
