Can I have my P800 and/or P910 constantly connected through GPRS and constantly checking for new e-mails? If so, how?

I think there is an option in your phones email client where you can set your phone to check emails at regular intervals ranging from every five minutes to 1 hour. My T230 has it. So the P800 should definitely be having it. Hope this helps.

The interval can be set between 5 mins and 12 hours! Sorry for the mistake earlier!

Control panel-> connections-> messaging accounts-> email-> select account-> edit-> inbox-> schedule; then choose what interval/times for auto checking.

I dont think that is how he wants it. He needs to connect only once. And the stay connected.

yeah but setting the schedule to download every 15mins makes you unavailable for calls during download. This part really sucks, since you just might want to be reachable not only by email. I think SE should look into maybe having a suspend GPRS session if a call comes in. I mean come on, Nokia has had this since the introduction of GPRS. I just can't understand why SE can't do this....
