Anyone know what function of each system file / director did under a:\ and z:\ ? I found some exe. files under z:\ could I copy to c:\ and run it?
any website has such UiQ/Symbian file structure description?

Back when Symbian was named EPOC and good old Psion owned it, you could get a shell program (like a DOS-window in Windows) from which you could run these programs. I do not know if anybody has written such a thing for UIQ. You might want to google.
Have you, by the way, tried to run the .exe files from a file manager? Maybe they are UIQ-aware? EDIT: On second though; you may assume that some if these files are already running as part of Symbian...
