The syncstation,
Can i transfer my pictures from my phone to the computer with this?
Or is it only for use of the updateservice that SE have?
Can someone tell me what this DSS-25 does??

Well, mostly we use this syncstation to transfer files between ur PC to ur phone. Of course u can update ur firmware to ur phone. Most important, you have to install all the software then u get the advantages of the syncstation features.

@nikern, yes you can download/upload pics, mp3 etc. from your phone to your pc. Try using Float's Mobile Agent mate.
Another sw that can do it is k700idatemanager found here

Easier just to buy the Data cable Dss-20, i see them in the t-mobile stores frequently and they can order them in.
The DSS-25 comes with the Sony Ericsson Pxx0's, you may be able to find it somewhere seperately, i do not know.

it would be advisable not to invest into a DSS-25 right now..as most of the time SE EMMA server is down usually + a normal cable is just fine..Most of the users have complained here that DSS-25 has fleeced them of money as they solely bought it for updating firmware..!

i pay less for the dss-25 than a normal datacable.. so i think it isnt that bad... i pay about 320NOK for the dss25, while i need to pay 499NOK for a datacable..
But doesnt they do the same?? Or can i do more with a datacable??

I'm not sure I can answer that, as it does not make sense..the datacable should be cheaper anyday compared with the DSS-25, Only Difference I can see is that Data Cable can be in USB or Seriel Port and The DSS-25 is in USB..! Basically Both function just the same..but I suppose your phone gets charged with the DSS-25 and Data Cable does not support phone charging..I'm not sure..Maybe someone who has used both can enlighten us..
