hi i had a p900 on o2 and there customer service was rubbish but reception brilliant.
now i have a p910i on orange nad its the other way rounds,texts are deliverd late? poor reception in my house,i call people and it hangs up even when i have full reception?
could anyone point out some reasons for this, i would be most gratefull.

It could be a problem with the handset itself, perhaps you should consider having it flashed.
It is more likely to be a case of a poor signal from Orange in your area. Network performance is not universal, in that whilst one network may have a good signal in a particular area, another may not.

@govigov there can be more than one operator at a particular location but they will have completely different antennas and equipment.

There can be many reasons for a poor signal, not just network coverage. As I mentioned before, it may be a fault with the handset; ther eis also the posisbility of atmospheric interference as a result of bad weather. Bad weather can also cause damage to the transmitters, which would obviously affect signal strength; we have had rather alot of bad weather across the UK over the last few weeks.
The best idea, in my opinion, is to phone Orange and ask them about the problem, it may very well be that they are carrying out work on a local transmitter.
