Bookmark topic
Ok, so i lost my P800 in a washing machine accident. with the insurance I had on the handset I am now getting an upgrade/insurance payout to the tune of £250 from the cpwh. I have decided on the P910i does anybody know how much this costs on T-mobile? (upgrape prices esp)
would I have enough change from the upgrade to get a BT headset? (recommendations please)

Not exactly what you asked for but I ported my number over from Vodafone to O2 and got the P910i for £100 on O2 250 (£35 a month).

T mobile wanted £200 to upgrade me to a P910i from my P800
So i went to orange, ported my number over and got a new one for free.
Don't know if that is any help

The annoying thing is that you have to re-purchase any software you've bought, as the new phone will have a different IMEI. This is also the case with lost/stolen phones replaced through insurance. I've been trying to find out if my insurance covers re-purchase of software, but haven't had a definitive answer. Does anyone know this?
Insurance does cover accessories though (eg. memory sticks).

I'm sure I've posted this before, but most self-respecting developers will supply you a new code, free of charge, for anyone in this situation, if you just email them with your new IMEI.
This is certainly what I did when I upgraded from P900 to P910i and all companies, without exception (though some were quicker than others) supplied me with new reg codes for my new phone.

Cool. Although perhaps I'd claim the cost on insurance as well anyway. Gotta 'stick it to the man' somehow!
