> P910 Blue Screen Of Death
Bookmark topic
I just experienced a BSOD on my phone! It really was blue with an error exception code n everything - what is the world coming to?!
I'm using a P910i Orange branded. When I tried to open ProfiMail (an email app) I received this BSOD! It told me the error code and that the phone will be restarted (just like a PC), which it did. Also, the strange thing is, it replaced the Orange homescreen which I had previously got rid of using the SE Desktop and changing file name trick.
Hmmm.... Very annoying.

This is a fix from back in the early P800 days. Back then it died and had to be sorted at a SP whils now ir re boots itself instead. Annoying yes, but by far as annoying as previously.

Yeah! I can remember having the TOD - Traingle of Death - on my P800 instead (yellow triangle telling u to hold the power button down for 10 secs!). But this was a proper blue screen - nasty thing!
It reboots ur phone telling u it has been restarted to "improve performance"!

Yeah, very similar at least. It says something along the lines of:
Your phone has
encountered an
fatal exception and
will be restarted
Error code: 1100EF3
in white text with a blue background (though the bottom status bar stays on the screen - battery, clock etc), then restarts after about 4 seconds!

See, the truth is out .....
It's not Symbian after all - we've just found out your phone is Micro$oft in disguise
