Why can't i see the background for my T68?
it appear just a box and a name of picture in it.. i'm from slovenia.. i don't use GRPS.. i tried all the possible configurations.. what now?

help me please..

Maybe that helps.

Ooops, you posted there already... Well, maybe you try to setup your WAP settings again manually, without letting it send to you by SMS.

The problem is here, i manually set the WAP setting as a saw on our provider's manual..
but nothing

thank i downloaded it from sonyericsson offical site, which they sent me the sms and than the stuff was installed..
but nothing

i've tried all the possible configurations
about ISDN, Analog, xx kps and all the possible setups..
but nothing

only thing that i did not try is to reset the setting and try it all again..

Same problem also with me, but since I try 2 operator, then the conclusion about problem is your operator's WAP server settings, this is what I'm discover, when I use other operator it can display correctly, but with the other one within GPRS or CSD (dial up) have same result.

Suggestion, complaint this problem to your operator, and ask them to reconfigure their WAP server gateway (the one that you have put the IP address on your WAP setting).

Hi guys,

Just a tip. Double check with the operator that the settings you have is correct. The settings that SonyEricsson is SMS'ing out is what the operators report to SonyEricsson. If the operator after that change to e.g. a new wap gateway, they don't always inform SonyEricsson.
If someone is more curious about the config of wap GW etc, I have a little script on my wap site you can run, to check what wap GW your operator is using.
Go to www.wapster.nu/wap/info.php3
If that one doesn't work (depending on SW version of your phone) try:
www.wapster.nu/wap/infoo.php3

There is also the possibility that your operator is running an old version of WAP gateway that doesn't support downloading "large" color Gif images.

You could try connecting to another WAP gateway, that can work.

i finally made it work.. with help from my friend Andrej it works now.. the catch is that, u should change operator sometimes and than it works.. i'm from slovenia,
i changed wap setting from mobitel to si.mobil and it works perfectly now..
i don't know whadda hell is wrong with mobitel.. they suck azz
