Is there a way to switch the sms delivery report message permanently on, because it's really annoying to switch it on every time you type a message, and what's even more annoying is that when the flip is closed, there is even no possibility of switching it on...?

Just for future reference, questions like this have been asked before. You can often find the answers to most questions by using the search facility at the top right of your screen.

It should be possible, most of the Ericsson / SE phones have that as an op tion in the messages menu, option 'options', than choose standard on instead of asking when composing a message. You did read the manual, didn't you?

Many people have read the manual. But on the P series phone you have to select it every time you send the message. That is the only option.

The first of the P800`s didnt even have the option for delivery reports. you had to get the software upgraded to get it.
