I've noticed i have 2 dead pixels on my P910i screen, i was wondering what people thought of me trying to claim a replacement /repair under warranty (considering i've got damage to the housing from dropping it last year !!)

Any thoughts? is it worth a claim?

Ask for their dead pixel policy. I am confident they replace it, because you got already two of them.

I think i'll do that, just not sure if they'll say the phone was dropped and caused the dead pixels....

Could dropping a phone do that?

no dropping the phone would cause the LCD to leak, dead pixels are more of a manufacturing fault, especially if its within a year of making it.

SE got a policy against dead pixels. Unless there is a considerable amount clustered and growing they will not replace it. This message was posted from a K500

what constitutes a considerable amount?

i reckon 2 is a considerable amount to me, especially as 1 is right in the middle of the screen

i'll call them anyway - shy bairns get nowt!
