> K700i - R2AE033 - Bugs?
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I have installed the latest firmware R2AE033 (Region EU_2) and have noticed the following bugs. Can anyone else confirm if they have them or if they are current on previous versions of the OS:
1) SOS numbers exclude 999 (UK emergency number)
2) When sending a text, if try selecting a number from your phonebook (all numbers stored on phone rather than on SIM) the phone book is missing numbers (approx 25 out of 76 on mine).
3) When setting up Speed Dial, and select add new speed dial, the phone book is again incomplete, missing approx 23 out of 76 (so not same bug as 2).
Anyone else notice problems?

Sweetmate are you based in the UK? So does your emergency list contain 999? Is your phonebook display english address entry fields? County and Postcode?
If so can you confirm what firmware you have installed? From the main screen press >* = left right on the joystick).
Mine is:

The only bug I've found so far is: If you turn on bluetooth, exit to "desktop" and then press the more-button, there's a wrong written option: "TurnOffBluetooth" instead of "turn off bluetooth" (only with english phone language).

@Footstep
For a programmer that's not called a bug - it's called a typo!
If the phone crashes when you choose this option, then you have a bug! Now someone typed the sentence wrong (or there simply were not any more characters left for the spaces... and they found no good way to cut off the sentence...)!

I only get the contacts that have a phone number. Could it be that?

There does not seem to be any reason why the numbers are not being displayed. Some of the missing ones have both home and mobile numbers, some have just mobile?
Can anyone who confirms that their R2AE033 is working, please advise if they have 999 in their SOS numbers, County and postcode in their contact details and the full software/customisation codes from the software info screen.
Cheers
Si
