A few questions on the bluetooth headsets available right now in the US:
1. In order to use the Motorola set with the T-68, is an adapter necessary?
2. Anybody heard a release date for the HBH-30 from Ericsson?
3. Are there any reasonable alternatives to either of these 2 sets available for purchase in the US yet?
Thanks for the input

You don't need any Bluetooth accessory for the T68, since it has Bluetooth built in and it is an open standard. I can use a Motorola headset with an Ericsson phone and a Nokia PC card and it interconnects!
I haven't heard the launchdate for HBH30, but I expect it to be this fall... hopefully.
I have used all the Ericsson headsets except HBH 30 and I have also used the Motorola headset.
I would advice you to go for the HBH 15 if you want to go for one now, if you want to wait, I would advice you to go for the HBH30 when ever it comes out.
Now you ask why:
I have tryed the HBH30 on and it is light and stable, I tryed all the coming Bluetooth headsets during last years CeBIT and the HBH 30 was my favorite.
The Motorola headset uses the battery up quite fast if you leave it on your ear and it takes long to connect to you phone when receiving a call.
The Ericsson HBH15 (I didn't notice this on the HBH20) has a menu in the Ericsson phone's Accessory menu where you can page the headset, check the battery status, change the passkey etc. I think the HBH30 will inherit these features... that's only logical.

Yeah, I've seen it advertised abroad already, but even a lot of those sites have said "Alert me when it's ready to ship" etc. Plus 150 GBP is about 230USD + shipping from abroad. I'd like to think that they'll be able to get the cost down over here a bit more than (somewhere in the $1xx.xx range maybe?)that to make the products more attractive.
I haven't seen too many HBH-15's for sale anymore, aside from secondhand. The company I've talked to about purchasing a headset from cellularforless.com, said that the 15 has been discontinued in anticipation of the 30 and they're also trying to push the HBH20. I have no idea why you'd want to buy the 20 though as the earbud still has a cord connecting itself to the base bluetooth unit. Seems kind of counterintuitive...

Hi, I have a T68i and the HBH-20 bluetooth headset.
When someone calls me, I no longer have the ring-tone of the phone, only the headset rings. Problem: I don't wear the headset all day, but carry it in my pocket, so I never hear when someone calls me.
Does anyone know how to have both the headset and the phone ringing ?
Thanks,
Joris

I'm not sure, but check your profiles.... I had the Motorola

Maybe your profile changes automatically and then your phone ringtones are off?????

JORISV > Theres a menu in the phone,..where You can set up "how phone/headset should work".
I use these settings with HBH-20 and T68i :
(Settings > handsfree > answering-mode = automatic)
(Settings > handsfree > handsfree type = automatic)
and (connection > bluetooth > settings > headset-sound =headset)
In "automatic-mode",..if headset is turned on,..then the headset will answer the call.
If headset is turned off,..as it would be when not using it,..then phone answers the calls
You do turn your headset OFF, when not using it right ?
I turn headset off, when not using it,..and I have my mode set to automatic detect,..so phone works normally. Once I turn headset ON, it automatically switches to headset-mode.
