As some of you may have read I have been having lots of problems with my P910 and the damn orange "customisation" - am now on my fourth orange P910. Anyway Orange have offered to give my a SPV M2000 instead but am unsure if this is a good move. Has anyone got any advice on whether I should take the offer or simply cancel & return the P910?

It's also heavily "orange-ised", arguably more so than the 910i. If that's what irritates you, it may not be a good option.

M2000 is heavily orange branded but a simple change of skin and away you go!

as somebody said M2000 is Pocket PC and not UIQ.

does have WIFI though and a much much bigger screen.

im choosing the M2000 over the P910i as my next free upgrade.

P910i is more of a phone with a PDA, wheresa M2000 is more of a PDA with a phone attached.

depends on what you want!?

Thanks for all your replies - looks as if I will be jumping off the SE ship and back to windows (used to have a SPV and an E200). The M2000 is bigger but am hoping that this is the phone I having been looking for - stable, fast and good for both business and pleasure.

Once again ta for the replies - helped me make my mind up.

Beware of the keypad, but its up to you, customisation can be removed but it comes back after a hard reset. but whats wrong with the orange thing? i think its by far better than the o2 xda2s.

PDA2k, MDA III and XDAs are all the same phone-just different branding. the bettery is better than i expected, but not as good as say a 6230 etc... however u do have a much larger screen and an unbeatable operating system with alot more features. anything else m8, let me know :o) This message was posted from a WAP device
