Only for existing customers with high spend for retention purposes. They will not match it for new customers as it is not a comparable service (as anyone who has used 3 will tell you!)

3 is ultra cheap for calls.
I just changed my YP 120 to an OVP O2 100 which includes 100txts!
My bill should come down significantly now!! Orange really should offer some tarrifs with inclusive texts.

Remember that with the Orange Value Promise you wont always get the luxury of free 0800 numbers that usually come with an Orange tariff,a mistake that i made a few years back

@boyi
One of the nice things about Orange tariffs I thought.
But I'd rather save £20 a month than have the luxury of free 0800 that I hardly ever use

@goldenface
I agree. The main reason I went to Orange from O2 is that they had the K700 and a good deal on new contracts at the time and O2 couldnt match the offer. If they hadn't had the K700 then I would probably of just stayed with O2 as I never had any problems with them.

oranges online plans include free text ie online120 120mins xnet and 250 texts 25 quid a month.
even if your an existing customer they will let you go onto one of these online plans. i did just phoned them up said i wanted to leave and go to 3 and they said i could have an online plan. well worth it my bills have halfed and customer service is still free.
