Hey guys I'm sorry if this has been already posted but I was checking out my-symbian.com and turns out some company came out with a new casing for the P9xx series. It looks pretty cool and something i'd actually use, you can see it here:

These cases have been selling for the Pxxx series since the release of the P800. Despite it's magnetism for dust it does serve has a good protective layer for those that are inclined to drop their phones once in a while. I personally have dropped my phone at least 20 times so far and it has survived all potential esthetic defect despite not having it in a case half the time. This would be a good fit for those that are not conscious of the safety of their phone when they fumble for it.

The alternative is to get a non-PVC case. The yellowish tinge is a characteristic of PVC degradation overtime as it is exposed to heat and UV rays. I believe there are non-PVC flexible plastic alternatives that do not change color over time and doesn't contain some of the leachable contaminants found in PVC. I do remember coming across a company that had one and marketed it as 'environmentally friendly'. In addition, the material is going to be a bit harder then the softer PVC. However, there could be quite a bit more visual haze if one chooses the clear alternative.
