I am from the US... but i just want to complain a little about it... this is only a LITTLE bit of what i want to complain about for now.
first, i know many people have read the thread about US planning attach on Iran. ( http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=81147 ) thats stupid of the US honestly, thats all i really have to say about that. but we still are having problems with iraq, and allll that other crap. the US messed up iraq pretty bad, and now they have to pay for the damage they have caused, and help rebuild, right? well NASA just released a rocket into space to attempt to land on a comet, and learn about the inside of the comet. (that may not be exactly is, but its something like that). but if i remember right... isnt the US in debt a few TRILLION dollars?? NASA just spent 300 million dollars on ATTEMPTING to try to land this rocket on a comet. I mean, its a good thing to learn, but right now, doesnt the US have more important stuff to worry about? I know NASA has a certain budget they can use for space experiments and all that, but still... do you understand where im coming from? That just frustrates me so much. cant they use some of that 300 million dollars to pay their debt?? we have iraq and all the wars to worry about, and now iran, and now we have to watch some rocket attempt to hit a comet?
i have to get going... but this is just a little bit of what i want to complain about. I will be back (maybe now tomorrow, but in a few days maybe) to complain a little more in this thread. ill post other places, but i want to wait to post here until i have alot more time to type alot.
I know what i said is very unorganized (just like the US hahah), but i was just ranting and complaining and i just wanted to know if anyone understands where im coming from?

I can also not understand how the US administration can finance the war in Iraq and terrorism on massive budget deficits. Future generations will sadly have to foot the bill. This message was posted from a T68i

EastCoastStar:

My friend i know exactly where your coming from;completely..I presume your one of the few sensible americans who did'nt vote republican?.

The American people have made a huge blunder by voting bush in again..only in the next four years will the americans truly realise how big of a mistake that was.

I think the US can "afford" to launch illegal wars of aggression in the Middle East as the US Government is planning on profiting from controling word oil prices. This message was posted from a T68i

i think they should be pouring all their resources into astronomical research, because pretty soon our planet is going to be F***ED and we will need to find a new one.

You mean another planet to destroy?

In that case they might also consider more research on space (inter-stellar) travel as well.
