Hello,
Well today i went to swap my sim's about in my s700i like normal, but this time everytime i put my payg sim into the phone it crashes about 30 seconds after the phone has booted up,
I was wondering if anyone else has ever had problems like this with the phone? or for any SE phone for that matter?
Anyway i'm off to the cpw to see if a firmware update will sort i out

O2 payg? If so, there are lots of reported matters. There was even a documentary on bbc.

I should have been more clear, its not a network problem as i can use the payg sim card in other phones with no problems at all

i have the same problem ..but the sim card is not a payg..its a monthly contract one..!!!
The phone just freezes about 30 secs after inserting the card...
but the sim works well on my other phone tho...
brought the s700i from cpw about 3months ago..

I've got issues with mine as well.. as soon as i start up the phone, it shows a received message, plays the message tone and then the icon disappears.. very annoying!!!

I dont have the same problem myself. I change my sim to contract and payg quite regularly without a problem.
