Personally i've had nothing but good service from ebay. Just make sure its a trusted seller and also check what they've gold before not just the rating because you can buy good ratings! This message was posted from a K700i

Depends what your buying and where you are buying from.

And the feedback is aslo important. Read what buyers of their items have said, people try to bulid up their feedback by buying lots of small things...

Hope that helped.

Yeah, make sure you check out the feedback and the goods sold first. I have bought numerous items off there no probs, until last week when some ars@hole ripped me off.

@ pmerryman

Care to share with us the details of what you were ripped of for and the circumstances??

It would help others!

Was buying bluetooth dongle off someone with 100% feedback of 4 sales. I won the dongle and paid via paypal, and sent an email to the seller. 4 emails later and still no reply. I then rechecked his feedback to see 4 new posts, all negative, slagging this seller of for timewasting and so forth. I found out the seller has un-registered from ebay, so I have logged a complaint with paypal, so hopefully should get my money back £8-10.

I generally have had very few problems with Ebay, as others have said, just be careful who you buy off.

The biggest problem I've had is one I have currently, I sold my old and rather large hifi to someone with over 100 feedback, it arrived damaged, and he's insisting that I'm trying to rip him off and that I lied in the listing!

This guy could cost me my 100% feedback rating, I hope he comes to his senses!

But buying things off Ebay, I've so far not had any serious problems, a few people been a bit slow sending goods, but (touchwood!) I haven't been shafted yet

best thing to do is not to rush, if your not sure, dont bother. another one is bound to turn up. anyway thousands of people buy and sell every hour on ebay, with no problems ;-) This message was posted from a P900

My first ebay adventure began on monday this week...i bought some 4x 512MB MS DUO Pro's of a guy from the states...so far i have received an email confirming despatch of goods.

I still remain VERY wary of ebay and its members! Itts just my 6th sense that sits on my shoulder watching me i guess
