it started as 'the sign of the devil' and thats only because Heavy Metal music used this hand sign, and Heavy Metal i guess was 'satanic', so they used the sign of the devil... but more recently, the more people have been using it, the more it has lost its original meaning, and now people use the sign all the time... they mean "cool" or "alright, yes!" or other ' cool ' things by using this sign... more commenly known as the ' rock on ' sign.

As blackspot pointed out Heavy metal bands do use that sign because it is the sign of the devil and it is so widely used now that it is considered normal and acceptable...what next swastikas??

axxxr, the swastika is a 5000 year old Hindu symbol for good fortune. Just because hitler used it, some 70 yeast ago, can its 5000 year old history be forgotten? Also, hitler used an inverted swastika.
