> SE Phone to rival the Samsung D500?

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to upgrade my k700i and was really impressed with the Samsung D500. Problems are: 1) it's v pricey!, 2) I love SE phones and haven't touched another manufacturer for about 6 years!
I wanted to know if there was a SE phone which matches (or beats) the D500 for functionality and design. If there isn't one out now, will there be one out this year??
Does anyone have any thoughts??

It's the K700 so no need to upgrade.
Better UI than the D500, radio, 3D Graphics.
OK the D500 has a more memory and a better cam but that's about it.

What about the S700? It has all the bits of the K700i but with megapixel cam and external memory and a better screen. It easily rivals the D500.

My "old" Z600 beats all samsung:-D Bluetooth, mailclient, better IRda than samsung, and more. It would suprise me if samsung could beat any SE phone at all. Memory and good cam isn't enough to make a good phone, thinking about functionality:-)

when I saw the d500 the things that appealed to me where:

I'm getting a bit bored with the k700i and wanted a new phone. I've seen the s700 but it's too big!
I would prefer to stay with a SE phone as the sound quality is better than any other I've known but SE seem to be taking their time releasing new phones which give other manufacturers a run for their money!
I've considered the P910 but it's a bit too bulky. Is there anything else on offer?

To all the members who have commented negativly towards the d500. Have you actually seen and used the phone ? The bluetooth and infra red functions are a lot better than previous samsungs and are not locked to only communicating with other samsungs. Screen and colours are excellent, sound is very good and loud, UI is very easy to navigate through. The phone is very user friendly.
