Twista, i think that is the passcode to access your voice mail box. And hence network dependeding you or your network have set the network passcode stored in the phone with the help of the 'p' (i think.)

@50 : The pass code is operator set. In our country it is blank. Ask your operator about it.

=============================
Hello
I am having trouble with the Vociemail feature on my phone.
I recently changed to a Nokia 7600, PAYG on Virgin mobile UK. I have a voice mail in my inbox:
1. I hold down my voicmail key
2. It requests my phone number follwed by the "#" key
3. It the asks form my PIN code followed by the "#" key
4. However i do not know the required pin, i have not set up any pin codes on my phone. Hence i think it was done by the network operator (virgin mobile UK).
Is there a default code?
Many Thanks
