Today I tried the internet with NetFront.. it functioned, but there was not any sign that I'm in internet. I consider it to be absolutely bad because if i switch casually to other application the connection will still be on and I'll pay extremely much money for i-net which i didn't use...
Can somebody give a hint if there a way:
- to cut make sure i've cut the internet
- to see that i'm connected
p.s. What's better NetFront or Opera?
thanks

I've always used opera on my p800, i've never even heard of NetFront, and opera seems to do a good enough job...
Any obvious advantages of NetFront

so, netfront is a browser, right?
well, whenever i am on the net, there will be a littel globe syombol at the bottom of the screen
click on it, and it will give you options to say "information" about the connection, or to "disconnect" the connection
this is NOT a part of the internet browser application, its jsut built into the phone
so you should see it wether you sue opera, netfront, or the built in browser
because just having a browser open wont charge you, you get charged for either transferrring data (in gprs), or for the time you are connnected (for dial up wap)
just having a browser open can not charge you, unless you are connected to the internet
if you do not see the globe, maybe there is a settign you have changed to not see it or soemthing???
its always been there on mine, so i dont know why you woudl not see this

NetFront is a mobile Web browser with similar capabilities to Opera. I have read that Its the built-in browser on the Nokia 7610. He mus be connecting via CSD if he is worried about staying connected. There shold be an icon - a handset receiver on a globe - on the bottom panel of the display when you are connected. Tapping on it gives you the option to disconnect or just get more info.
