Newbie Alert!
I just got back my P800 from the SE Repair Center after they had this for 1 month. In fact, this was a RMA for a repair it went in for prior to this as well. So I have been out of my p800 for almost 2 months. I got this back today with a note that said that this is un-repairable for economic repair. Anyone ever had this ever happen to them? This is weird and I am frustrated as to what to do next. Any advice on how to proceed? or plain and simple, am I out of a phone that expired on warranty one month after it broke? Would appreciate advice!

It only means that it would cost more for them to fix your phone compared to buying a new/refurbished phone. Yes, sometimes this happens and you are out of luck if it occurred 'out-of-warranty'.

Today high end electronic devices are a joy to use, but without proper care and maintenance it could become more of a problem than a tool.

If the warrenty expires 1 month after it broke doesnt that mean that the phone is still under warrenty. If that is the case insist they fix it or give you a replacement.

Sorry, meant to say the Warranty expired one month PRIOR to it breaking. Used this phone with great care and one day, the LCD didnt go on. Sent it in, got it back and it worked good and then about a month later, just never turned itself back on. RMA'ed it and this is the end result. As we say, Aloha means goodbye..I guess. But, greatly leaning on a blackberry right now.
