I bought a SE serial cable a couple of years ago, is there any way I can tell if it is a T28 cable?? as I want to Flash the firmware on my S700 and get rid of Vodascum firmware. All help appreciated.

You could buy credit form your favorite place, ie. DaVinci TotalServer etc. and try to perform an operation that will not deduct a credit, like When i was about to unlock my first Z1010, i chose "read CID" more or less just to confirm that the phone and software really "spoke" to one another If it turns out to be a data, as opposed to service cable you have, you can re-wire it, either yourself, or let some Radio shack-type store do it for you.

Thanks for that. Do you know if there are any wiring diagrams if that is the case, as I will re-solder the wires myself, just need a diagram with the pin-outs for both service cable and T28.
