> Is your phone really that bad?

For about the last few months I've really noticed an increase of people having problems with their phones.
I myself have had problems with my old p900 rebooting and my K700 struggling with Java. But with all of that I can't really complain.
Only a few years ago with mono phones I can't recall a single fault with them.
Of course technolgy has changed and more and more neat gadgets are being put in mobiles these days.
Also being a K700 O2 customer I haven't had a single lost/delayed text nor problem with any network that I can remember.
I just want to know are you happy with your mobile?

I have had quirks in every phone since my 6210 to be honest. Nothing really serious, but i agree that quality was superior a few years ago.

i found it to be the other way round for me.
i went througha load of nokias breaking...
yet my SL45 T28 T68 T610 P900 all have been fine (touch wood)

My k700 has white screened a couple of times and froze whilst using java, considering the developement over the last couple of years, when I can have the sort of features it offers the odd problem like that doesn't bother me too much.

I never buy a phone when launched but a few months l8r just to avoid the probs u talk about. I never had a single bug in the t610 and the p910i that i use now.

As phones more and more start doin wat the pc does its obvious that they'll start havin the same problems as well i.e. hardware as well as software issues. Mostly there are software issues and are pretty much taken care of in software upgrades...you just need to give it some time. And as stated earlier seein all their functionality i would not mind the odd once in a while goof up.

bluetooth didn't turn off once, and cam didn't go one.
Clara is needed badly.

Just like 701 said, I also always give new phones some time before buying. I give enough time for bugs to be fished out & a couple of fixes released. That way, I have avoided most issues. In answer to the question, No; my phone is not really that bad. I am very H-A-P-P-Y with my P800 :-D

Haven't had any probs with the Nokias I've had, or the Ericssons up until my T29 a few years back when it just stopped switching on, app a "software" problem common to a lot of them. Had a Motorola v600, just been sent off for a "software" fix and now I'm on my third p910i in under 2 months. Not happy!!!!! Excellent phone, apart from the problems! In fact if it carries on it will be going back and I'll go back to a sony clie and the T29 I picked up off ebay!
