Hello people, this is really a horror story. I've been using the demo of Magic Profiles Pro for the past week and everything works fine. In fact it continued working fine even after the 21 days period, but then my conscience got the better of me and I decided to make the full purchase.

Now after getting the reg code and everything I cant even start the program. When I check the "Enable Magic Profile" box, it just does not register as the tick just dissapears when I open it again. Obviously if I cant get the tick in the "enabling" box to work, then the software would not start/work. I also find that I have to register my name and reg code everytime I start the program which surely isnt right.

Can someone with experience using this program please help. Thanks

Unfortunately I cannot help you with this. I have got the same problem. I tried to get support for other problems with this software from Symbianwave but they completly ignored me. So I did not bother to ask for support on this matter. I took my loss ($19.00) and deleted the software from my phone.
Hope someone here knows the anwer to this, maybe symbianwave will honor your service request.

Oh No thats terrible! 19USD is quite a big dent (for me at least after conversion from my national currency). We should not be punished for trying to be legal. I could have got the cracked version of this software but I liked its o much I decided to make the purchase. Can someone else pls help. Thanks

Hmm... I may well be that the damned thing left a file somwhere on the phone and it keeps reading it even when you register it.

It may be a stab in the dark, but if you're out of options you might consider backing up your phone, do a full reset, install your app, and then restore.

It may not work, because if when you restore, you put back the file that generates the problem - then you're back where you started.

Hmmm you might want to trace that file down *after all*

I assume you have uninstalled and reinstalled it again? If you havent you should try that.
If that doesn't help you should write their support, i have done it a couple of times and they helped me. The big problem with their support is that it take so long time to get an answer, up to a week last time i used it!

l think you should uninstall the app and delete its folder and left files. to find files that it might have left in other folders (like x:system/data) i would reinstall the app and use sman to locate files that have been created/modified within the last day, uninstall the app again and cut them to some other folder.
that way you will make sure that the app doesnt find them (i r1.1Jecommend not d.ou make sure that they dont belong to another app) so you can try to make a "clean" instalation of MProfiles.
l know its boring to uninstall and install so many times, but it works for me.
l hope that helps
post me if l can help you

l dont know what happened to the text.anyways:
(i r1.1Jecommend not d.ou make sure that they dont belong to another app) = (l recommend not to delete those files until you make sure that they dont belong to any other app)

Hello people, thanks for all the tips. I've sorted half of my problems. Apparently they got the wrong reg number, but they've sent me another reg number and not its working fine (in terms of enabling it).

But I still have a problem bcoz the automatic profiles changing function does not seem to work after 12 midnight every day. Wonder why? Has anyone else had a problem with this? Could it be that the "calendar rules" function is interrupting with the "schedule" function? Can someone who has Magic Profiles Pro working perfectly pls post their schedule settings on this thread and confirm whether they also use the "calendar rules" function at the same time.. Much appreciated.

I only use the "calendar rules" and it works great. MPP changes the profiles after the calendar but i have to set "schedule" to "00:00 every day normal" (maybe 12:00 midnight for you), if i don't do that MPP wont change back to normal profile for example when a meeting i calendar is over.

I don't know if this is your problem and my english sucks, i hope i have helped a little...
