@fatreg: Why would you use the phone side of the 9500 for writing stuff out, when there is a full qwerty keyboard on the pda side???

Nokia has been implementing t9 on most of its phones since 1999 but not on the communicators, because they have full keyboards.

hello,
t9 is the same for any phone, so firmware will need to be changed to incorperate t9. t9 is copyrighted to Tegic corperation and no manufacturer can change it to suit their product, the product must be changed to support t9

gbrooks.
9500 does not have T9 on the phone side because it has a qwerty keyboard inside. nokia have done this on purpose.

a hardware change??
no way!?
now i know T9 is a trademark of tegic (ive worked in mobile comms for 4 years!)
i just want T9 on my 9500,
if we could kind of get one working for the P800 that shows it doesnt need a hardware change!?
