I have just done a master rest on my Z1010, and I have lost a few of the things that came with the phone.

I'm on the Australian 3 Network, the only branding it has is the little area below the screen on the front, and under the keys.

Although, I cannot upload/download games to the phone (its this normal).

But the problem is, I had 3 games, after rest, I have one, and its Q*Bert or whatever, ya know, the crap one. NO ERIX :'-(

Also, ringtones, I had about 10, now I have 3.

Whats going on?

@The_Nashy

It's well known that doing a master reset deletes some files that can't be restored, including some games. The new firmware the K700i has changed this. Not as many files gets deleted (firmware R2AE033).

Also, when you did the master reset, you were presented with a dialog saying that you will loose some games etc.

Yes. It erases all the stuff but for few pre-defined items. This message was posted from a T610

All the games and images that were removed were the ones that came with the phone.

When I try to transfer games via my USB cable, I have no place to put them except for "Other". That does nothing.

I also don't have mates with SE phones, expecially the Z1010.

Would a flash fix this?

The things that got erased are those not predefined so you loose them, those who are in the firmware, well, they re install back.

If I remember right it clearly states (on the phone and manual) that you loose everything which is the point of a Master Reset.

That makes a good lesson for the future

The problem being, they came with the phone. I mean, you can't tell me Erix was put on the phone by 3.

I can't download games, so I didn't download it.

Some phones come with pre installed things on it and some of them are locked so you can't delete them and that's what happened ...

Nothing wrong with it, next time be sure to read
