It is highly possible that quite a few members of Esato have already invested in a PSP.

As you should all know, the PSP is capable of playing MP4 files.

I have been searching the PSP forums that last few weeks and have come across a MP4 encoder for the PSP.

If you want to convert Movies/TV Shows fro your PSP, you better download this now! Image Converter 2

You will also need to download and install the language pack, a full walk through is on the website tho.

Happy encoding....

Or, if you own an Apple Mac, you can use iPSP:

http://www.kaisakura.com/iPSP/index.html

which also syncs your iTunes & iPhoto libraries to the PSP and backs-up saved games.

the reason why you get an error because it dosent understand the codec example you using a avi - vob converter and you try to use a wmv file....................it wont work. So try another format.
Also the 3gp converter does up 2 1500kbps video quality as the image converter on does 768kbps. but the image converter has a better details in the app but as for 3gp. oh it just a window with a drop down menu

The video formats that you inserted inot the 3gp converter have they been compressed to a certain codec like divix or Xvid. Also try avi. formats

I've been successful converting some videos (Smallville episodes) w/ the 3gp converter. They look great! However, when I try to convert widescreen movies, the output file is changes to the "fullscreen", rather than "widescreen" format. I won't get my PSP till March 24th so I can't test these files on PSP. I'm hoping it will stretch them to widescreen, not play distorted ratio w/ black strips on either side. Anybody know an answer or way around this?

I've used without any problems this IC2 for converting movie files to MP4. The problem I have is viewing them in PSP. It just doesn't see the movie file in my Mem Stick Duo ???

maybe you did not put the file in the right place on your dou or it is not formated for the psp ie. the folders don't have the right allocations i know the p910 puts all the folders in a readable p910 formate i had trouble useing my 1gb mem dou on my p910 and my psp
