This is so serious, I cannot connect to my PC with my brand new P910i, I really need help, I have installed PC suite, with everything, it then says connect phone I do so, but nothing happens.
Can someone please help!!!

Check the Device Manager in My Computer. See which COM port your DSS-25 is connected.
Next, there should be a new icon near your clock and speaker icon. This icon will look like it was copied from a heartrate monitor. Click on it. Put a check mark on the COM port where your DSS is connected to. Uncheck the other(s).
Connect your P910. It should be detected this time.

Don't know if this helps, but I had a similar problem where my norton antivirus/ firewall etc software was blocking the connection. I turned it off, and it worked! Then just allowed it to be unblocked via settings.
Probably more complex problems, but hey!?!

Hi there,I had the same about a weeks or so ago with my new 910i.First uninstal the pc suite that came with your phone.Then go to the sony ericsson 910i site and download the newest version,then install it.Then disconnect your pc from the internet,after this disable your antivirus,and firewalls.After this it will work,I found all this unbelievable with a brand new phone,but this is what you have to do.I still have to disable everything when i sync??
