I see you are from the US. The Z500a is already available in the US so i believe.

I've seen two Z5's in Central Park, so it's definitely available. Check with your service provider.

Z500a with 850/1800/1900 frequencies is available from Cingular and I have one.

But Z500i I'm also looking for Z500i with 900/1800/1900 frequencies

Z500 is indeed cancelled for Europe. Normally SE is going to show the replacement on Cebit
