Which one is better for my school paper:

It’s that time of the year again. The Christmas presents are already scratched and the exams are just over. Now is the time to sit back, and wonder what you can do to your life to improve it. Be it in school or other. You can stop to think, exam stress is over, and take the time to prepare step by step for an excellent year 2005. There is always space for improve in everything! School is moving soon, we can have a fresh start! All right, so your life doesn't seem perfect? Nothing ever is, but we can reach for the sky and make this year the closest you’ll get to your goal. Here at Ink and Paper, we started the year... a bit late, yes, but step by step. Never mind that Bush got re-elected; we have more tedious things to get done Remember Student Council will be doing a lot this year, including getting the yearbook together and handing out those Valentine candy grams. The tsunami fund will be getting underway for a school that we will discuss with the teachers. Oh, and for you journalists out there, we need you. Get in touch via inkandpaper@gmail.com now.

That’s right, it’s the return of EAB Victor Hugo’s bi-monthly newspaper! You thought we would give up that easily? Oh ye of little faith! Sorry for the delay folks, but the missing coffee machine gave us some withdrawal symptoms; you know, the usual paranoia, twitching, and urge to kill; so we were in rehab for a few months. But now our printer jams are clear, so here it is, issue number 2 of Ink and Paper.

Well now that exams are finally over, and despite the horror (or joy for some) of getting your results back, you can relax your brain a bit. But remember, you’ve been given a clean slate for the next semester, so those of you that did badly last term have a chance to redeem yourself this year, so try to work harder this time around.

In other news, the Valentines Candy Grams are coming up, so if you missed out a chance to give some out last time, you’re all getting a second chance this time. So remember to save up that cash, you wouldn’t want to make anyone feel bad would you? This time, in celebration of the greatest of the Hallmark holidays*, we will be selling the treats in scrumptious big and small sizes.

Yearbook pictures are coming up sometime around February, so if you’re planning on looking especially nice for your photo you’d better start that diet now. You’ve probably noticed some of the yearbook’s ace photographers roaming around the school already (and if you didn’t, it means they are doing their job even better), so try not to be shy, because you’ll be sorry when the yearbook comes out and you’re barely in it.

Also, we are still looking for the most creative, thought-provoking, inquisitive journalists out there, so remember to email InkandPaper@gmail.com if you’re interested.

So once again, sit back, relax, take your coffee sip by sip, and enjoy the latest issue of Ink and Paper.

The first ones better, the second one mentions exams in a negative way too much.
