Hello,
I just got my new K700i and now I want to transfer my addressbook from the previous T39 into this phone. I've already noticed there are differences (now it's name and before it was last name, first name). But since I've figured this out I can now upload the old contacts to my new phone.
I've always used my T39 in combination with a Palm PDA (m505, Tungsten E) and I synchronized new contacts between them using the IR-port and doing a send address.
This worked fine but there were no address fields exchanged (the T39 cannot store them). But now with the k700i I can store address data but I have problems synchronizing. I cannot send or receive those fields from the Palm.
Does this have something to do with the Vcard format version that is used (I know the Palm still uses version 2.1 and not 3.0) or is it related to something else and above all, does anybody now a solution for this problem?
