Any ideas when an upgrade to the bug ridden firmware on the s700i is due? Any one know if the uprgade could allow the s700i to use Memory Card duo Pro as well as memory card duo or is this a hardware restriction not software?

Unfortunately, unless otherwise mentioned by Sony Ericsson, we cannot tell nor predict when future firmware releases shall come about. We can predict a new firmware release early this year, but cannot give an exact date, sorry!
Note, the MSDUO i think is a hardware problem, however, P900 upgrades allow you to use a duo pro, so we cannot ever tell, but perhaps yes, a software upgrade may do the trick!
We can only hope and pray, and hope that the problem gets sorted out

hmm ok, in desperate need of an upgrade, my s700i has started doing wierd things.. :-S any ideas on the memory cards? would be nice if they firware did all memory card duo pro's.. would save me buying an mp3 player!
