Hi,
I’ve recently received my K700i back from an Service Centre because of a problem with my themes not displaying correctly.
They resolved the problem by updating my Firmware from “R2L001” to “R2AE033”.
Now I’ve got a problem using the VOICE CONTROL option within the phone, when I go to record my voice using Voice Dialling or Voice Answering it doesn’t pick up my voice. Also when this is done Voice Recorder / MP3 Playback stops working. And the only way to get these working again is to switch my phone off/on again.
The voice recorder / Mp3 Playback works fine otherwise.
So my question is does anybody else have this problem with this firmware.
Hope you can help.
I’ve logged a Support Call with Sony Ericsson and waiting for a responds regarding this issue.

if u do try updating ur firmware again
with sonyericsson online update...
it may jus be that the previus installation was not 100% complete
try the online update...

Yes, I have the DSS25.
If your thinking using the Sony Ericsson Update site. This is what i was thinking but i don't want to down-grade my firmware unless sony are updating with a newer version then the one i've got.

u can only update or repair exsisting firmware

have u considerd using davinci or total server they do the job...
i had a prob once with my display it was resolved afta i had flased my phone firmware using davinci

Because sony ericsson Service Centre updated my phone. I didn't update it myself.

But I'll think before i do web update. I'll wait for sony ericsson to reply to my question.

I've done a Sony Ericsson Web Update. It makes no differents with the problem I'm having.
"Its one of them functions which normally i don't use that much. But because it's not working. I NEED TO USE IT"...... Arrrrrrr.
Hopefully Sony Ericsson Support will fix this problem.
