hello everyone i was just clearin a cupboard out and found some old fones... in suprisingly good nick... an i was told i could keep em from work as well!!! YAY!

Whats the oldest phone you got? And include pics if u can... I'll start things with my Peoples Phone 800 (PP800).

This phone was released on THE PEOPLES PHONE network (which became Vodafone) a long long time ago... I cant remember exact dates but its bloody old... It only makes calls and thats it! no numbers to save, no sms and only 5 tones to choose from...

heres a pic of the box...

And the box contents... (complete with everything in excellent condition!!!)

And finally the phone in all its glory!

SO COME ON PEOPLE HOW OLD IS YOUR OLDEST PHONE... MINES ABOUT 10YRS OLD I THINK...

Does it still work?

By the looks of it even before they became Vodafone they were still into their branding (the People's Phone sticker on the handset)

Yes, but that´s actually different.. Say for the sake of argument my first phone was a T610 and i later bought a GH888 just for the hell of it, then the T610 would be first, but the triple-eight oldest, right?
Oh, and my oldest is the GH198 from 1996.

well, from one of those other threads... I have my very first NEC 9B - (thats the aussie version as it was called 9A in UK) from 1986

of course, that was analogue so in regards to still working phones

the Nokia 2110 was my first GSM phone from about 1996

though the one I have no longer has the wood effect fascia so I'll post a fresh pic at the weekend

Well my oldest phone was a nokia 5110, back in 1998. Still have the box and a couple of expess-ons, the phone was sooo beyond repair, i sold it for Rs.1500 (around £17) to a junk dealer.
