I have a P800 desk stand borrowed from a friend which I use to synch with my k700. I have read elsewhere on this forum that p800 stands use the dss20 cable but my computer reports backthat its a dcu11. is this correct or do I need to update the cable driver?
Model no for the desk stand is kry-105-183r1b if this helps.

I came across some information about this problem while trying to get my phone to sync with Linux. It seems that there are two versions of the dss20, one which has the same chipset as the dcu11 and one with a similar chipset to the dss25. Both function the same, but are reported differently to windows. There is no reason to worry as long as your sync station is working.
